Armed with a degree in journalism and mass communication from Arizona State University, Danielle Kernkamp is the morning news anchor for KERO-TV’s 23ABC News. However, her passion for journalism has been displayed since her high school and middle school days, where she was already anchoring newscasts. This continued in college, working as an anchor, reporter, and even meteorologist at Arizona PBS and after a six-month study abroad program in London to study British broadcasting, she began her professional broadcasting career. A stop at Cronkite News and KTEN Television as a news anchor gave her the experience she needed for her current role. The Temecula, California native is a foodie and dog lover, and based on her Instagram account, runs and enjoys the outdoors, keeping herself in magnificent shape.
