If there’s one female softball player the whole world knows, it has got to be Jennie Finch. The two-time All-Star, 39-year-old played for the Arizona Wildcats, Chicago Bandits — and obviously, Team USA where she led everyone to victory on numerous occasions.
The team won a gold medal in 2004 and a silver four years later. Finch retired from sports in 2010, but she remains in touch through her commentary job with ESPN. She’s also made it to the National Hall of Fame for her contributions to the game.
