Lauren Sesselmann
Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Lauren Sesselmann played soccer at a college level at Purdue University. She had a relatively decent start to her career and decided to use her father’s descent to get Canadian citizenship.
With little to no hope of ever getting called for the already-loaded US national team, Sesselmann headed to Canada and made her place in the National Team. She earned a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics playing for Canada and appeared in the 2015 Women’s World Cup.
